Information Sessions
All applicants to the program must register to attend an information session.
Information sessions run weekly on Wednesdays at 9 am at the Vermilion Energy/YWCA Skills Training Centre, 4086 Ogden Road Road (view map here). To register for an information session, please call 403.705.5770 or email recruiter@ywcaofcalgary.com. Please note, this program is only open to women.
Our information sessions run for approximately 90-120 minutes and include a tour of our training facility. If you are interested in applying for the program, you will be given the opportunity to fill out an application form after the session and book your first interview.

Please note: Application does not ensure acceptance into the program.
Acceptance is dependent upon attendance throughout the application process, suitability, funding, stability and ability to communicate in the English language.

We would love to see you at an information session. If you register for an information session and cannot make it, please let us know as seating is limited.
***If you are attending the information session, we kindly request that you prearrange childcare care as we cannot provide this service at our location. Children under the age of 12 months may sit with you if you cannot make other arrangements, but you may be asked to rebook to attend another time if your child becomes disruptive to the group.***
