YWCA Fitness on 5th offers a wide variety of fitness classes for early risers, the noon-time crowd, after-work enthusiasts and weekend warriors. There is definitely something for everyone. Some of the classes include:

    • Boot Camp
    • Zumba
    • Cardio Dance
    • Core Conditioning
    • Definition and Strength
    • Indoor Cycling
    • Yoga
    • Hula Hoop Fitness
    • TRX Fitness *

Our volunteer instructors are second to none and carry certifications through organizations such as AFLCA, Can Fit Pro, YMCA, University of Calgary, University of Alberta and Mount Royal University. As well, current CPR/AED certifications are standard for our instructors. If you have any questions do not hesitate to stop by for a tour, or contact us.

Class Guidelines

* Please be on time for classes, as the warm-up is an important part of your workout!
* Always bring a water bottle and towel with you to class.
* Remember to pace yourself during class and HAVE FUN!
* If you are pregnant or are recovering from any injury, please inform the instructor, monitor your heart rate and look for less intense modifications by the instructors.
